What do we do?
Occupational Therapy Sessions
Ongoing Occupational Therapy sessions involve individualised therapy working towards reaching milestones and achieving meaningful goals for the child and family.
Functional Capacity Assessments
A functional capacity assessment is a comprehensive evaluation of an individual's ability to function in their day to day lives. It involves thorough assessment, and in-depth recommendations to get a full picture of an individual's strengths and challenges.
Reporting
Reports provide clear and comprehensive information that helps communicate a child’s needs and achievements to families, caregivers, and other professionals. This can include, but is not limited to, ndis review reports, progress reports and support letters.
Resource Development
Occupational therapists provide resource development, such as social stories and visual schedules, to equip children and their families with tools they can use to support and foster confidence in daily activities.
Stakeholder Meetings & Liason
We engage in stakeholder meetings and liaise with caregivers, educators, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to therapy, fostering collaboration and continuity of care for the best outcomes for each child
What can OT's help with?
Occupations are the activities that people do every day to give their life meaning and purpose. For our little ones, this includes playing, learning and looking after themselves. Here are some of the ways we can support kids to engage in their everyday occupations.

Emotional Regulation
Helping kids learn how to identify the way they feel, and supporting them to learn positive ways to manage big feelings.

Social Skills
Supporting children to navigate social interactions and friendships, including taking turns, sharing, reading social cues, and friendship problem solving.

Fine Motor Skills
Helping children to develop their fine motor skills, including grasping, drawing, handwriting, cutting, manipulating objects and so much more.

Executive Functioning
Helping kids to improve their skills in attention, planning, problem solving, impulse control, managing their belongings and following instructions.

Activities of Daily Living
Helping kids to gain independence in daily living tasks, which includes, but is not limited to, toileting, dressing, feeding, bathing and brushing teeth.

Sensory Processing
Helping to understand and advocate for children's sensory processing differences and support children to meet their sensory needs safely and proactively throughout the day.

Gross Motor Skills
Helping children develop their coordination, balance and strength.

Play Skills
Helping to develop play skills by promoting social interaction, imagination, problem-solving, and creativity. We also use play to target all the other goal areas mentioned.
